Is it possible to contract mumps after being vaccinated against them? - mumps more condition_treatment
Recently I've been in the last two weeks in close contact (eg, the exchange was beverages) with someone who has mumps (the contact was contagious during the incubation) shortly before the onset of symptoms. I did twice against measles, mumps vaccine (in 1988), but I have symptoms of mumps, including swollen glands. Could the mumps contract?

It is possible to recognize to be vaccinated after an illness because the body can produce antibodies quickly enough toxins right to vaccination. You should tell your doctor as soon as possible.
Good luck:)

There is a possibility. May-vaccine does not protect 100% against any disease. The MMR vaccine should be given in 2 doses, so if you have 1, may have lower immunity than if you die 2 Dose had. I would definitely call your doctor.

Youre to get 5-10 years after the last vaccination no longer be protected, and the disease, but the fate of a young man. For the children would be more complicated.
For children who contact the disease after early childhood is very common to have complications with their reproductive organs and that they are sterile, and is able to have children in the future.
Therefore, the simple logic that the doctor has said that if a child vaccinated against measles, mumps, only 15-17 years, but after that period, he loses his immunity from the vaccination, he had, and the disease can after 15 -17 years will receive, as their immunity is not, then it is actually sterile, because the symptoms are more severe for older children.

Yup. There was a problem Vacina. Many people have mumps after having been vaccinated for them. Including me. Go to your doctor and see if OT is not the mumps.
Maybe. Consult a doctor. I contracted mumps in adulthood, while in the hospital! I had all my vaccinations and childhood memories, including the MMR.
Yes, you can ... I have been vaccinated against mumps in 1999 and in 2007 captured .. should see your doctor as soon as possible .. Good luck
