You can live on board, Ontario on Lake Ontario. Hamilton Harbor, Port Credit Harbor Marina, Port Credit Yacht Club Lakeshore Yacht Club, Queen's Quay, Park visceral Pickering Yacht Club are few places in the western end of the lake to live on the outskirts of communities.

There are some considerations to take into account. First, you must have a very comfortable boat. It must be great, but really should not be less than about 30 meters. It should be large enough to stand in for you. When the kernel of bridges, even better, because it keeps the heat in.

You can not go without access to less than 60 amperes of current. Although I know, with fewer people who happen to run really sucks fun experience, the administration too much power to heaters and dolls, while

If you are the kind of person who "are all the comforts of home, you may want to reconsider. Some have said that life on board is nothing more beautiful camping ... SOMETEMI, which is very close to the truth. Many ports take off the water in late fall to take a shower on board the "hump" of water by the docks, at any time or to a group in order to invite a large number of tubes for the depth of water on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon .

The "head" is a similar problem. Most marinas have no sanitation facilities in the dock at the head of ships, whether for the winter and spring, or only assembled and organized a "Honey Wagon" scheduled for one day for the release of the pump.

Also, most places, a shower and laundry facilities are available throughout the year and in the case of the yacht clubs, club houses.

There are a number of other things to learn, but we will not complicate things here. It is an ideal lifestyle for the right person. All you can do is try and see if it works for you.

Hats off to David B of Michigan! Good advice!

Do not listen to them land! It's amazing how many people say that you can not do that!

Port Credit Marina in Mississauga, Ontario has many people on their boat all year round!

Unfortunately, I have over a great dog and it can not go on my yacht or ... yet! Visit Port Credit, in a few years!

It is the only place I know. If you find another let me know!

Hey, Larry ... I'm in the Bay of Georgia ... for now!

On board in Lived in Michigan, uses a puppet to warmer water to the surface of the ice boat bring no harm. Boat was well insulated, steel helmet, worked for us. Make sure that the insulation is sweating a serious problem in other ways. Keep your generator ready to go, full throttle and in case of power failure. Engine room is heated to prevent water from freezing in pipes. Freshwater filled week with a number of Spickett pipes inside. Make sure your model is that it can handle snow and ice with no windows, damage, etc. Some chain stores or those seeking to start and keep away the time. We enjoyed the sun comes into the strike.
It was different, but also be fun. Portable fire pump is a necessity, or use the head on the floor. We had a steel trawler 43 meters built with business rules without having to become leaky sliding window.

Forget the link, such as keeping the heat in the night? You will spend more than $ 200K, for a boat with a heater.
